Who We Are

The Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) is the national voice for podiatric medicine in Canada. We support and advocate for podiatrists across the country, working to advance foot and ankle care through education, research, and professional collaboration.
Through our work, we strive to enhance public awareness of foot health, support our members, and promote the highest standards of podiatric practice in Canada.
Who We Are

Additionally, CPMA participates in Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA) meetings, advocating for fair and comprehensive insurance coverage for podiatric services.

CPMA actively engages in legislative and policy discussions at both the provincial and federal levels to ensure that podiatry remains an integral part of Canada’s healthcare system.

Internationally, we represent Canadian podiatrists through partnerships with organizations such as the Federation Internationale des Podologues (FIP), the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and The Royal College of Podiatry (UK) (RCOP). We have also established friendship protocols with the U.S. and the UK to strengthen professional ties and knowledge exchange.
