Doug Ford plans to roll-back worker protection laws, including rules that made it illegal for businesses to force women to wear high heels on the job.
Bill 148 Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, brought worker protections into the 21st century. As part of multiple new laws, businesses cannot require women to wear high heels on the job “unless it is required for the worker to perform his or her work safely”.
